Surah Name: Al-'Adiyat Meaning: The Chargers
Wa(a)lAAadiyati dabha(n) By the chargers panting. (100:1) |
Fa(a)lmooriyati qadha(n) And the striking sparks of fire by dashing their hoofs. (100:2) |
Fa(a)lmugheerati subha(n) And raiding at dawn. (100:3) |
Faatharna bihi naqAAa(n) And therein raising dust. (100:4) |
Fawasatna bihi jamAAa(n) And cleaving therein their way unto the host. (100:5) |
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ Inna alinsana lirabbihi lakanood(un) Verily man is ungrateful to his Rabb-SWT . (100:6) |
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ Wainnahu AAala thalika lashaheed(un) And to that he is a witness. (100:7) |
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeed(un) And he is vehement in the love of wealth. (100:8) |
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alquboor(i) Does he not know-when what is in the graves shall be ransacked? (100:9) |
Wahussila ma fee a(l)ssudoor(i) And what is in the breasts shall be brought to light? (100:10) |
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeer(un) Verily their Rabb-SWT that Day shall be well-apprised of them. (100:11) |
